Description Of ItemThree pasted press cuttings relating to love and homicide, specifically the phenomenon of homicide after romantic rejection or adultery. The first press cutting, from an unknown source, describes the murder trial of George Townley. The second press cutting (on the reverse), from an unknown source, describes the homicide, by request, of a woman involved in a romantic relationship with her cousin. The third press cutting, from an unknown source, describes the attempted murder of a woman by her husband who believed she had committed adultery, and the attempted suicide of her husband.
