As 'Dr Golloch' Cunningham is satirised in the novel 'The Misty Morning - A Tale' published anonymously in 1857. He writes to his brothers John and Samuel in Belfast on personal matters. The Cunninghams in Belfast, Ireland had a grain mill in Glenwood just off Shankhill Road.
