| Description Of Item | This series contains lecture notes taken by students from the lectures of William Cullen. The volumes are not chronological as many of them were only partially dated or not dated at all. Also some of the volumes have been bound as related items (eg Volume I-III) and there was a need to keep these together. The titles in the entries are those given on the volumes. The subject headings in the item descriptions are as given in the volumes. Only in one instance (CUL/2/2/7) is the name of the student known.
CUL/2/2/8-12 are known to be from the course of lectures Cullen delivered in the academic year 1772-3 as there is an explicit reference to not meeting again until January 4 1773 on p. 64 of Volume 2 (CUL/2/2/9). |
