The volume contains lectures titled Class 1st Order 3rd (pp1-90), Class 1st Order 4th (pp90-191), Class 1st Order 5th (pp192-218), Class 2 [Order 5th?] (pp218-259), Order 2nd (pp260-337), Class 2 Order 3rd (pp337-end). Within these lectures there are divisions by disease or condition with details of symptoms and cure. There are at least two different types of handwriting. Bookplates on the front flyleaf for John Goodsir and Harry D S Goodsir. Annotation on first page 'John Goodsir No 89'. Later pencil annotation that the notes were taken by his father. There is a further note in the original manuscripts catalogue that this is more likely to have been his grandfather, John Goodsir of Largo. |
