Description Of ItemThe memoranda is dated 23rd April-4th May 1827 and concerns an outline of Hamilton's plan to publish his lectures and questions he will need to address one of which, on the flyleaf, concerns the regulations for a diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of London. Included are loose notes on physiology, passages of Haller to be copied, works connected with midwifery and a notice of a meeting of the Scottish Society of Antiquaries. On the back flyleaf is a 'list of books with which I must be supplied'.
