| Description Of Item | Title as given on volume is 'Praxis Medica'. Each case note gives the patient's name and the name of their condition, prescriptions and a journal of their progress. The volume consists of four series of cases, each with a name index and each starting the page numbering again at p1. In cross references, of which there are a lot, these series are referred to as Books A, B C and D. The first series is pp1-114; the second series, with a title page inscribed 'S H 15th July 1777', runs p1-112; the third series is p1-114; and the fourth series pp1-112. From p29 of the second series the case notes are in English and Latin. Some of the later notes are initialled 'SH'. |
