Description Of ItemA press cutting from The Scotsman about the trial of Andrew Brown, who was accused of murdering John Greig aboard a schooner called the Nymph on 6 September 1865. Accounts of the crime were given primarily from John Pert and Alexander Raeburnes, also aboard the Nymph, and testimonies regarding Andrew Brown’s sanity were provided from several people who knew him from personally, including two of his sisters.
