| Description Of Item | The illustration on the left, corresponding to Fig. 2, shows the lymphatic system of the forearm and hand. Several notes are written in pencil. From top to bottom on the right, these say ‘artery to be shown with one of two lymphatic threads accompanying it’, ‘veins much smaller’ and ‘vein to be erased’. Most of the writing on the left is cut off, but the words ‘shown’ and ‘much’ are legible.
The illustration on the right, corresponding to Fig. 1, shows the lymphatic system of the lower head, torso and upper arm. To the right of the illustration, there is a partially cut off note which says ‘Lymphatic [minimum] to joi[n] [dirt]. Let [illegible] twine [illegible]’.
