Description Of ItemFolks writes to say that Dr Biggs has recently returned from France where he had been investigating the effect of the war on the tuberculosis problem under the auspices of the French government and the Rockefeller Foundation. He asks for what information Philip may have on the impact of the war now that America has entered. Philip replies that around 10,000 men have been discharged from the British army on account of tuberculosis. A copy of the National Association for the Prevention of Consumption and other forms of Tuberculosis' memorandum on 'The Care of the Tuberculous Soldier' is included.
