Description Of ItemNotes on the superficial veins of the arm and the dangers of performing surgery on them. The ‘cephalica vein’ [cephalic or antecubital] is not near ay artery or nerve, the ‘mediana or common vein’ [median cubital or median basilic] is above a nerve, and the ‘basilica, Epatica or liver vein’ [basilic] is near an artery.
