| Description Of Item | These were originally kept in: a folder that had contained Tabulae Anatomicae by Friderici Arnoldi and was initialled AWW (WAA/3/1-38); two paper folders (WAA/3/39-42 and WAA/3/43-52); and a tied folder WAA/3/53-65). However, in the original manuscripts catalogue his writings and papers were described as being in only three portfolios. Portfolios 2 and 3 were labelled so it is assumed that the rest of the material came from portfolio 1 even though it had been subdivided. Not all of the items are captioned and this is indicated by a possible title in square brackets. Few of the items are dated and are assumed to have been produced at the same time as his writings. It is not always possible to tell whether an image is an original drawing or a print. They have been catalogued in the same order in which they were kept in the folders. |
