Description Of ItemTwo examples of silver medal attached to a purple ribbon. Engraved with the College crest and 'The Morison Bequest, For Meritorious Attendance on the Insane.' Both in plastic cases. Sir Alexander Morison (1779-1866) was a physician and Fellow of the College from 1801. He gave an annual lecture course on mental diseases at the College and became a recognised authority on the subject.
