'I've been trying to find the name of the soldier who made it, but unfortunately can't. He 3D printed it at home after reading about PPE shortages at our hospital early into the pandemic. This was at a time when you couldn't travel more than 5 or so miles from your home so he then set up a chain of people to get it to me. In those first few days I was one of the only people with a visor, whilst other colleagues made do with uncomfortable DIY googles etc.' |
