| Description Of Item | Sir John Wenman Crofton was the president of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh between 1973 and 1976. He was the chair of Respiratory Diseases and Tuberculosis at the University of Edinburgh and ran a clinical unit at the City Hospital.
