The volume starts with 'Pneumonia continued' which indicates that there were previous volumes which have not survived. Similarly, on the last page is a note that observations are continued in Volume 13. From page 9 the lectures are headed 'Gen VI - Gastritis' and quote from Dr William Cullen.
