| Description Of Item | This section contains the minute books of the Aesculapian Club. The larger minute books (AEC/1/1-4) are duplicates of minutes that were taken at the meetings as is stated in an account of a special meeting dated 8 March 1902 in AEC/1/4. However, the duplicate books contain the earlier minutes presumably because the full minutes were not retained prior to 1820. Both sets of minutes have been catalogued in this section which accounts for the overlap in dates. The titles are as they are given in the volumes. |
