'The Origin, Progress, and Present Position of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, 1505-1905' (1905). With note on flyleaf, 'Presented to the Aesculapian by the author, John Smith, July 1905'
'Nugae Canorae Medicae, Lays by The Poet Laureate of the New Town Dispensary' (1850). Written on flyleaf, 'Trifling Songs of Medicine' and 'To the Secretary of the Aesculapian Club from DG [Douglas Guthrie]'
'Carminum Rariorum Macaronicorun Delectus: in Usum Ludorum Appolinarium, Quae Solenniter Edinburgi Celebrantur, Apud Conventum Gymnasticum Filiorum Aesculapii' (1813). Volume of poems in both English and Latin, with written on flyleaf 'D Argyll Robertson' and 'very curious & scarce'.
Two copies of: 'The Temples and Ritual of Asklepios', by Richard Caton (1899 and 1900)
