| Description Of Item | From the collection of Lady Eileen Crofton. The Scottish Women's Hospitals used the abbey at Royaumont as a hospital. After the war, c1923, the Royaumont and Villers Cotterets Association of the Scottish Women's Hospitals was founded and they published regular newsletters. Each newsletter has the object of the association, subscription and office holders at the start. Some are photocopies and some have annotations presumably by Crofton. The news from members which appeared in every edition gives the members' names in bold and quotes from letters received. |
