Description Of ItemThe first part is titled 'History of the Practice of Physic', early 1780s, with annotations by Cullen. The second part it titled 'General Plan of a Course of Lectures on the Practice of Physic' and appears to be a continuation of the first part. Later inserts at p33 and after p80 are dated October and November 1780. They were originally written in fair copy but Cullen has annotated them. After the paginated part of the volume, five other versions of lectures are included. The last of these starts 'When I studied Physic in this university about 48 years ago' so is therefore c1784. Includes a letter attached to the first page to Messrs Henderson and Bisset, bookbinders, from D C [David Craigie], dated 14th May 1861, about binding the volume. Described in the original manuscript catalogue as 'in his own hand'.
