| Description Of Item | Account dated 2nd June 1788 for stomach elixir, laxatives and china musk obtained from K McKenzie, apothecary presumably during Lady Jane's last illness. It was certified by Gregory Grant MD on 7th February 1791 who also added that Mr Mackenzie did a lot of work for Lady Jane, her servants and others for ten to twelve years without payment. It was paid on 15th March 1791 by Samuel Mitchelson and received by Kenneth McKenzie. |
