Description Of ItemHe removes Alexander from any attendance at the Edinburgh Lying-In Hospital as he now lives so far removed (Northumberland Street) and will take charge of it himself. He also notes that Alexander was not at the general meeting on 4th January so did not hear what he had to say about record-keeping. He encloses a copy of the laws, orders and regulations of the Hospital dated 1793. Alexander has used any spare paper in the letter to draft his reply.
