Description Of Item | This section contains notes of lectures by James Hamilton the younger in volumes containing a work by Alexander Hamilton. These volumes were originally in the collection of Alexander Hamilton. However, they were moved here as the manuscript notes are from lectures by James Hamilton in 1801. The printed volume is the fourth edition of the work published in 1796 in London with a dedication to Bartholomew Parr dated 1795. The volume is printed on every second page and the annotations are written around them with some relating directly to the work with the use of asterisks. Because of this, the contents page at the start of volume 1 will correlate to the manuscript notes. |
