Description Of ItemA press cutting from the Medical Times and Gazette reporting on a case discussed by James Paget about a 62-year-old woman who had a neuroma tumour on her sciatic nerve. The article describes the characteristics of neuromata in detail. Pasted onto the lower portion of the cutting is part of another article from the same issue of the Medical Times and Gazette. It describes the symptoms and treatment of a 59-year-old labourer called William H, who was admitted to Guy’s Hospital because he had a tumour in his arm. He was treated by Edward Cock. The second column of this article has not been attached but is included in DEP/LAT/38/21.
