Description Of ItemJournal article cutting from the collection of Thomas Laycock. Details how a man was bitten by a dog which was suffering from a case of rabies. The patient shot the dog, himself thinking it was ‘mad’, and that he could not contract the disease if the dog was killed after biting him. Details how the man had symptoms which were produced due to his severe fright and heavy drinking.
