Description Of ItemPatient case notes from the collection of Thomas Laycock, detailing several cases under different headings. The section ‘Juvenile Dementia’ details the cases of 20-year-old Walter Moffat, 19-year-old Margaret Clark, and John Black (age unknown but estimated by author of case note to be ‘about 22’). Clark was admitted for treatment on 14 January 1864, and Black was admitted on 2 March 1865 – no details included on date of admission for Moffat, if any. The section ‘Klepts’ details the cases of 48-year-old Elizabeth Jeffrey and 31-year-old Mary Steele, both apparently compulsive thieves. The final section, ‘Accumulators’, details the cases of 70-year-old Margaret [Easton] and 49-year-old Alexander Hart.
