Description Of ItemAddressed to William Moncrieff - he encloses the state of the affairs of the Medical Provident Institution for circulation, asks for immediate payment for Gibson & Hector and feels that the Institution could thrive if only there was 'a prospect of a gradual accession of members' but fears that 'imprudent disclosures' will prevent this, 28th March; encloses books and papers, reminds Moncrieff to send notices for premiums to Mr Weir and Mr Sinclair 'if it be resolved to continue the Institution', 7th April; and sends minutes. Addressed to David Cannan - he thanks the Institution for its vote of thanks, 14th June; requests the settlement of his account, 17th July; and asks for the return of the reports of the Medical Staff of the Army Society sent in error, 17th April.
