| Description | The club was founded following a friendly match between the players of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. It was open to fellows of either College on the payment of entrance-money. A cup match was played at the Spring meeting and various handicap prizes were played for at the October meeting.
