| Description Of Item | The volume starts with an introduction followed by a heading Clinical Lectures starting at p13 and dated 14th January 1750. After lecture 2 on 29th January it is less clear that the cases are divided into lectures. Although they are still dated, the dates are not consecutive. Each case study gives a heading followed by a case study giving the patient's name, age, diagnosis and treatment. The volume also includes three lectures clearly stated as by Dr Rutherford, on Inoculation (p181), on Epilepsy (p195) and on Scrophula (p213). A further four general lectures on venereal diseases, on scurvy, on fluor albus and on headache are included at the end. There is an index at the rear which give's the patient's name and disease but no page numbers. |
