| Description Of Item | Few of the registers have titles so it is not known how they relate to each other. Titles in square brackets have been assumed from the content. In the entries where the term 'division' is used this was the geographical division used by the Committee to divide the country and was based on the divisions originally created by the British Medical Association (Scottish region). With the exception of the first two volumes which have information entered on to pre-printed pages, the majority of the registers appear to be draft in format. Any reference to the South-Eastern Counties division means the counties of Berwickshire, Selkirkshire, Peeblesshire and Roxburghshire. |
