| Description Of Item | Although the papers in this series were kept in the same packet, they appear to divided between earlier records relating to registration and recruitment and later records relating to priority release. Also included are records relating to medical graduates. In this sense they are more miscellaneous than SMC/3/8 and may have been collected by J R Currie during the research for his book 'The Mustering of the Medical Service in Scotland'. There is other divisional information in SMC/3/7-8 and SMC/3/10. |
