| Description Of Item | The certificate is illustrated by engravings from drawings by Richard Dadd, a noted Victorian artist and a patient in Bethlem Hospital and, at the date of these drawings, Broadmoor Asylum. There are two styles of certificate using four of Dadd's illustrations, two on each, but the same wording. The certificate is blank with spaces left for the proposer of the award, the attendant's name and the number of years of service. The certificate also gives details of the Society's work. |
