He is also interested to hear of Stockman's research and relates the low incidence of beriberi to that of neurosyphilis in syphilitic infection. He mentions a lecture by Mellanby and offers to send Burnett an invitation to talks of the Edinburgh branch of the Royal Society for Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. |
