| Description Of Item | This item consists of a typed manuscript by Douglas Watson with handwritten amendments and other draft versions. The work includes photographs of case studies and graphs; an account of a meeting of various medical professionals to discuss the illustrations of urine analysis of cows and healthy and unhealthy men and what conclusions could be drawn; and the illustrations themselves. The illustrations were originally attached to the pages with pins which had rusted and were removed. Also included is a letter from Chalmers Watson to Mr Graham offering the papers to the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, dated 3rd January 1946; 'Supplementary Statement to ARC [Agricultural Research Council] by Dr Chalmers Watson', dated 13th November 1945; profit and loss calculations for Watson's farm at Fenton Barns; and drafts for a paper titled 'Concerning Light Energy'.
The papers were originally in a brown folder labelled 'Telephone Book'. |
