Also bound into the volume is a letter from James W Dawson, dated 19th July 1926, which thanks Sir Norman for allowing him to read his work and praises his insight into tumours. The article was awarded a Royal College of Physicians Research Prize. Walker was awarded the Cullen Prize in 1922 but this research prize was probably different. Although originally dated as circa 1926 from the letter, there are no references in the work after 1892 so it is more likely to be earlier. |
