| Description | This collection is from the estate of Dr W D Chambers, Honorary Secretary of the Murray Royal Asylum in Perth, Scotland. The collection consists of minute books, correspondence, and printed papers, mostly related to the Scottish Asylums Pathological Scheme.
This collection was acquired as part of the Clouston Memorial Bequest to the laboratory of the Scottish Asylum. Dr Thomas Clouston was an eminent Scottish psychiatrist who would become the Physician Superintendent of the Edinburgh Lunatic Asylum, later the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.
