Presented in 1922 and engraved ‘Presented to the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh by the Officers of the 2nd Scottish General Hospital, R.A.M.C.(T.F.) whose names are inscribed on the bowl in commemoration of the work of their unit in the Great War 1914/1919.’ The Hospital was stationed at Craigleith, now the Western General Hospital.
