| Description Of Item | This collection is comprised of items which are held by the College Officers, rather than by the College's library and archives. As a result, although most of the collection is silver there are certain other ornaments which are included which are made of other materials.
The College's silver collection was primarily acquired through donations or bequests from the College fellows and members, with some items also presented by overseas organisations. The collection is mainly made in the United Kingdom and dates from the nineteenth to the early twentieth centuries. |
