The donor of these goggles, Dr Hadiza Gachi, was a consultant in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, when she used these googles during the COVID pandemic. Dr Gachi stated that: 'At the beginning of the pandemic, there was inadequate PPE. This goggle happened to be available stock that was in NHS stores that was issued to staff. It was shortly, after deemed inadequate as it did not protect the face and was withdrawn as visors were supplied.' |
