| Description Of Item | Sir John Halliday Croom was the president of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh between 1970 and 1973. He was a lecturer in midwifery at the Edinburgh Extramural School of Medicine and an assistant gynaecologist at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
