Description Of Item | The college possesses two busts of James Gregory. It was recorded in the College's minutes that this bust was ‘a valuable gift’, donated by Dr Keiller in May 1863. It is not known who created this plaster bust of Gregory in classical robes, although it is highly similar to the College's other bust of Gregory, which was sculpted by Samuel Joseph.
Alongside the two busts the College also possesses a portrait of Gregory (after Raeburn) and Gregory's profile can be found amongst the roundel portraits in the frieze in the hall.
