| Description Of Item | Following the publication of the Goodenough Report the committee was formed to draw up a memorandum representing the views of the three Royal Scottish Medical Corporations in light of the threat posed by the report to the extra-mural schools. The memorandum was submitted to the Secretary of State for Scotland with a request for interview 'to enable them to elaborate certain matters'.
