Description Of Item | The College Committee on Post-Graduate Teaching was established with a view to inquire into the possible development of post-graduate education after the war. On the recommendations of the Chairman of the committee, Dr Edwin Bramwell, a Joint Watching Committee was established in 1944 consisting of representatives from the College, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the University of Edinburgh. The recommendations of this committee led to the establishment of the Edinburgh Post-Graduate Board for Medicine (1945). These papers include papers of the Joint Committee and the Edinburgh Post-Graduate Board for Medicine.
