Description Of ItemPapers relating to James Gregory's relationship with the College. Gregory was President of the College between 1798 and 1801, but after publishing private proceedings in a series of pamphlets and books between 1809 and 1811, he was suspended from fellowship of the College.

The publications covered a variety of grievances and accusations, including regarding the relaxation of the Act of 1754 (which prevented anyone from combining the professions of medicine and pharmacy), accusations against the President and Committee revising College Laws of fraud, and unscrupulousness.
