Description Of ItemThomas Cunningham was appointed doctor at Currie, Scotland to replace Dr Wilson who had been brutally murdered. As 'Dr Golloch' Cunningham is satirised in the novel 'The Misty Morning - A Tale' published anonymously in 1857. He writes to his brothers John and Samuel in Belfast on personal matters. The Cunninghams in Belfast, Ireland had a grain mill in Glenwood just off Shankhill Road.

These were originally in plastic folders in a ring binder titled 'Original Cunningham Correspondence and Envelopes - Currie November 2007'.
