Description Of ItemThis is the fifth edition (first edition 1781), printed in London and dedicated to Sir John Pringle. The volume is heavily annotated with prescriptions, remedies and citations from medical journals. The page opposite had been left blank presumably for this purpose so the annotations relate to the text. On the last page of the volume is a name and address 'M Gardiner[?] 18 Farley Street, Corner Gardens, Worcester'. As one of the annotations (p174) includes a case from Ledbury, near Worcester, England, this person may have owned the book.
