Description Of ItemTitle as given on volume is 'Theory of Physic - Midwifery'. Lecture notes taken from lectures possibly by James Gregory and James Hamilton. The student's name is not known. The first section, pages numbered 1-251 is on lectures 1-119 of anatomy and materia medica and is dated October 1811 to April 1812. The second section, pages numbered 1-174 and dated May to July 1812, is on obstetrics and gynaecology and may be by James Hamilton. The last section, pages 545-587, is on certain conditions and their treatment and is dated 20th to 29th April 1812. The volume is not signed or otherwise positively identified with a particular professor and it is unclear why it was assigned to the Hamilton collection. On the basis of the dates and the similarity in format to GRE/6 it has been added to this collection but it is not known who the lecturer(s) was.
