The first document is titled 'Extrait d'une lettre particulière du Prefet de Salamanque Dn [Don] Anto [Antonio] Casaseca au Marquis d'Almenara', dated 5th January 1813; the second document is a letter from the Marquis dated 20th February 1813 at Madrid; the third document is titled 'Traduction d'une lettre écrite au Roi par le Ministre de L'Interieur' (being a translation of the previous document); the fourth document is a letter from Prefet Antonio Casaseca to the Minister of the Interior, 10th February 1813; and the fifth document is titled 'Traduction d'une lettre écrite au Ministre de L'Interieur de S M C par le Prefet de Salamanque'. The letters discuss British troop movements including Wellington's move to Cadiz. The documents were originally given other numbers but were brought together. |
