| Description Of Item | It is assumed that these were compiled by Alexander Hamilton but it is not known at what date. The volume contains case notes, predominantly in Latin, dating from approximately 1733 to 1736. Some of these are in the form of a letter from a patient with [Herman] Boerhaave's response and prescription. Also included are a number of prescriptions for specific conditions. The front cover is inscribed 'Ex Libris Alexandri Hamiltoni'.
