| Description Of Item | Attributed to Alexander Hamilton as the volume includes periodic accounts for class fees and Thomas Young signed for his part of these during the period when Young and Hamilton shared the professorship of midwifery. The volume gives brief details of each student, their name, sometimes where they were from and their lodgings and which course they were to attend. Because of the changes in handwriting, the students may have written some of their details themselves. The accounts for 1781-1783, in the middle of the volume, give a list of the names in a more legible form. |
