On the reverse is 'The lectures of my husband Mr Rd Heath who died suddenly in London at St George's Hospital, March 3rd 1817 - Mary Heath, late of Derby'. There is also at least one note by Mary Heath within the text (p110), dated 1 May 1824, written in her capacity as matron of the Queen Charlotte Lying-in Hospital, Lison Grove, London so she used the book after her husband's death. |
